1963年生,汉族,博士,研究员,博士生导师。目前主要研究方向为土壤侵蚀、土壤景观与土壤质量等。1982年在四川农业大学获学士学位,1986年在中国科学院成都分院获硕士学位,2002年在成都理工大学获博士学位。
