宋东日,男,籍贯山东,研究员。任云南东川泥石流国家野外科学观测研究站站长,主持东川站的泥石流动力学野外观测、数据整理及实验设施建设工作。主持中国科学院人才计划、基金委面上等项目;在ESSD、WRR、JGR、EG等期刊发表30余篇,担任Landslides等3个SCI期刊编辑,获省级科技进步二等奖1项。
(1) 泥石流灾害的野外观测与跨尺度物理模拟; (2) 泥石流、碎屑流灾害与防护结构相互作用机理; (3) 地质灾害的生态工程防治原理(根-土相互作用)。
