张远彬,男,中国科学院、水利部成都山地灾害与环境研究所硕士生导师、副研究员。长期从事大熊猫取食竹生长与营养评价、大熊猫栖息地质量评价与恢复、珍稀濒危野生植物资源保育等方面的研究和应用工作,主持国家自然科学基金面上项目2项,四川省科技厅重点研发项目3项,中国科学院“西部之光”人才计划项目1项。以第一或通讯作者发表SCI论文30余篇,是人与生物圈国家委员会自然教育专委会第一届委员、四川省生态文化促进会理事、四川省林学会理事。
